Who Can Apply for the Grant-Supported Solution
To qualify for up to 50% funding support, the applicant must be a local SME.
You are eligible:
1. If your business entity is registered and operating in Singapore
2. If your business has a minimum of 30% local shareholding

SMEs are eligible for up to 50% Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) support for the adoption of Roots Digital digital marketing packages, a Pre-Approved Solution under the IMDA SMEs Go Digital programme.
Frequently Asked Questions
The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) was launched on April 2018 to help businesses enhance their processes with technology. It provides financial support for business owners to adopt pre-scoped IT solutions, equipment and consultancy services to improve productivity.
SMEs can apply for PSG if they meet the following criteria: Is a business entity registered and operating in Singapore; Have a minimum of 30% local shareholding; AND. Company’s Group annual sales turnover should be not more than S$100 million, OR Company’s Group employment size should be no more than 200 employees.
From 1 April 2022 onwards, the maximum support level will be up to 50%.
Pre-approved vendors are companies assessed by IMDA to be able to offer effective, market-tested and cost-effective solutions. To be pre-approved under the programme, you will be evaluated on capacity and capability; as well as whether your solution meets the requirements of target sectors.
Roots Digital is a pre-approved vendor for the PSG Grant for Digital Marketing.
Companies can put in more than one PSG application depending on business needs. However, support can only be extended for one package per solution category per deployment location.
Is the PSG grant taxable? The PSG is given for the purpose of acquiring equipment/solutions which are capital in nature, hence it will not be taxable.

You can submit claims for the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) in the Business Grants Portal.
Launched in January 2019 by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Enterprise Singapore (ESG), Start Digital provides newly incorporated SMEs or those that have yet to digitalise with foundational and easy-to-deploy digital solutions, to help them start their digitalisation journeys.
Companies that fulfile the criteria for SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) will receive a one off $10,000 credit to cover up to 90% of the out-of-pocket expenses on the qualifying cost. Refers to the eligibility criteria below:
- SME has contributed at least S$750 Skills Development Levy over the qualifying period.
- SME has employed at least three Singapore Citizens (SCs) or Permanent Residents(PRs) every month over the same period.
- SME has not been qualified for SFEC beforehand
